A lot of people ask: Why Freestyle?

Freestyle is my passion. It hurts me to see what has become of our music over the last 15 or so years. Once mainstream radio stopped supporting Freestyle, most people ceased to care and the overall quality of the music suffered severely.

There have been a handful of artists and producers to emerge during the mid-to-late 1990s and early 2000s to offer new Freestyle music that can stand on it's own - but those are in the minority. Few and far between - lost in a perpetual sea of "Planet Rock" sampled beats, House & Euro inspired synths, faster BPMs and so many remakes it will make you nauseous.

Rhoq Solid Entertainment and Total Kaos Records are committed to bringing back the sound that made you fall in love with Freestyle in the first place. We recognize the fact that the formula created by Chris Barbosa in 1983 is perfect and does not require any changes. The end result is pure, untainted, Freestyle music.

In this day of "quantity over quality" we feel that Freestyle fans deserve better. In our effort to bring you the best product possible, we are not going to rush anything. RSE and TKR will release material when we feel it's finished and not before then. We want to offer Freestyle music something special and worthy of the disc it's pressed on...
